About Elder Robin Washington

Robin Washington is a native of the Washington, DC metropolitan area and is a survivor of both domestic violence and sexual assault. She has been chosen and anointed by the will of God to be His servant as a teacher, an intercessor, an author, and a worshipper.
The mandate given to her, by God, is to reach victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault through educating, empowering, encouraging, equipping, and edifying them to rise above the circumstances of life and the negative experiences of abuse that has kept them in a dark place.
In July 2003, God gave A New Beginning Ministries to Robin Washington in order to meet the many needs of women and children. It was initially purposed to support women and children who were coming out of abusive relationships and environments.
In February 2008, God changed the name of the ministry from A New Beginning Ministries to Beginning Anew Ministries. Beginning Anew Ministries is a teaching, deliverance, healing and restoration ministry. The ministry was birthed to minister to; to provide support and tangible resources to victims / survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. It is also designed to educate and bring awareness to communities about the affects and impact of domestic violence and sexual assault on victims, families and the community as a whole. In addition to education and awareness, the desire of the ministry is to provide support, transitional housing, counseling, job training and placement, and a number of services or resources to women and children.
God called her into ministry July 13, 2008 and has sent her to testify of the gospel of His grace that can deliver, heal and set His people free from oppression. She was licensed as a minister April 14, 2014.
Minister Washington is a survivor and has overcome the victimization of domestic violence and sexual abuse. God delivered her from the baggage that oppressed her as a result of these circumstances and negative experiences in her life. Through God's power she has been set free and healed from the baggage of abuse, low self-esteem, guilt and shame. Currently, she serves as an advocate for victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Minister Washington is compassionate about her service to victims and / or survivors of domestic violence.
The passion God has given her to reach hurting people, especially women and children in order to edify; to encourage; to help them realize and maintain their God-given identity; and to help them understand and fulfill their purpose in life, as the supernatural power of God transforms their lives and they begin to experience Him in a new way. That the teachings based on the unadulterated Word of God will help bring His people into a position to know Him better and to experience His power of deliverance, power of healing and restoration to bring wholeness. That God's delivering and healing power is available only through Jesus Christ to all those who believe.
Elder Robin Washington is a native of Washington, DC and was reared in Maryland. She attended the public school system in Charles County, Maryland. Shortly after high school graduation, Elder Robin furthered her education by completing programs in both secretarial science and accounting.
In 2003, God called her into ministry after many years of abuse and traumatic experiences. Elder Robin is a survivor of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and sexual assault; this part of her life was difficult, but God kept and strengthened her in the midst of it all. As God kept her, she began to experience His unconditional love and mighty power that delivered, healed and set her free--free from the abuse, the low self-esteem, the guilt, the shame, the depression and other baggage that resulted from the circumstances, traumatic experiences and difficult times in her life.
After Elder Robin acknowledged her call into the ministry, God began to direct her steps. Eventually, after being involved in a number of churches, she became a licensed minister in 2014 at The New Holy City of Jerusalem Temple of God under the leadership of Apostle Sharon Thompson where Elder Robin continues to serve, continues to grow and continues to mature in God.
Elder Robin is compassionate and her passion is to reach hurting people, especially women; to motivate and educate God's people; to edify; to encourage; to help them realize and maintain their God-given identity; to help them understand and fulfill their purpose in life. She believes that teachings based on the unadulterated Word of God will bring His people into a position to know Him in a new way and to experience His power of deliverance, of healing and His wholeness.
