About Robin Washington
Robin Washington, a native of the Washington, DC metropolitan area and a victor, an overcomer of both domestic violence and sexual abuse / assault which she was delivered from by God's divine power and began to heal her from that that she had endured.
God called her into ministry in July 2003, and has sent her to testify of the gospel of His love and grace that delivers, heals and sets His people free from oppression. It is a mandate given to her to help God's people who have been traumatized by domestic violence and sexual assault. In 2008, Beginning Anew Ministries (a teaching, deliverance, healing and restoration ministry) was birthed; a ministry created and designed by God. It is to provide support and tangible resources to help survivors overcome--to rise above the circumstances of life and the negative experiences of abuse, of the violence that has kept them in a dark place. She believes regardless of one's circumstance that we were and are created to be victors, to be overcomers. Beginning Anew Ministries is also designed to educate and bring awareness to communities about the affects and the impact that domestic violence and sexual assault has on survivors, families and the community as a whole.
Currently, Robin serves as an advocate for victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She has a sincere passion about her service to survivors, or as she prefers "victors" or "overcomers". The compassion God has given her to reach hurting people, especially women and children is encouraging and edifying. Through this compassion they begin to experience God's love and His supernatural power as their lives transform and they begin to heal. This is done by empowering and engaging the now overcomer through teachings based on the unadulterated Word of God that can help victors let go of the past; to bring them into a position to know Him better and to experience His power of deliverance, power of healing, power of restoration; power to bring wholeness; that it is available only through Jesus Christ; and available to all those who believe.
